Dear Clients
Please follow these tips to get the maximum out of your sessions with me (or any other therapist or life coach that you may work with).
- Spend the first session discussing your issue at length. Be open and ask questions.
- Be active in designing a plan of action that suits you.
- Take responsibility for implementing the therapy/coaching plan of action in the best possible way from your end.
- Make sure you stick to the appointment schedules. In case of any change in plan be sure to inform.
- Be flexible and open in your thought process. Coaching and therapy is all about changing the behaviours that do not serve us anymore and replacing them with productive ones.
- Be sure to give feedback to the coach or therapist. Do not hesitate to tell him or her if a technique is not working for you.
- Remember that certain behaviours or limitations that you may be facing now are NOT a reflection of how “good” you are as a person. You are an amazing person and that goes without saying. The process is simply about diagnosing what is not working and replacing it with something that works well for you.
- We all experience psychological and emotional pain as we go through life. Treat your sessions as times for self exploration, understanding, compassion, healing and learning to love yourself. If you are able to master these key areas then the therapy sessions will be life altering for you. You will be well equipped to cope with the challenges that life brings to you in the future.
